Apple

The holidays have helped to increase sales at the Burkholder Project. Speaking of the gallery, I've signed on to do two shows in 2011. In March I'll be part of a three artist grouping, and in November I'll be pairing with a potter for a 2D/3D show.



Set up the home studio today and took this picture:



I found that the most challenging aspect of taking this photo was trying to keep highlights from the studio lighting from showing up. I ended up splitting the aim of the softbox between the apple and the white background, which ended up working quite well.
