My friend Ryan is a fantastic storm chaser. This photo is from one of the first chases I went on with him. We ended up in northern Nebraska during this shoot, spending much of our time driving back and forth between Columbus and Schuyler, based on current weather conditions, and actively trying not to be hit by a tornado. I know he reads this blog, so let it be known, that if he doesn't take me out at least twice this year, I'm disowning him :D

There are many cliché photographs that photographers go for. The trick is to make whatever cliché you're going after unique. That being said, I think every photographer needs their very own, "Grass blowing in the wind" shot. Luckily, the killer storm was giving me a beautiful backdrop.
